1. What it is used for

The Wipcool 2F10 is a two-stage oil-sealed vacuum pump designed for the installation and repair of large HVAC systems, including ammonia systems. On a 50 Hz supply it pumps 566 l/min, and with the gas ballast valve closed it reaches a vacuum of 4 microns. In addition to SAE ports for charging hoses, the pump has KF flange connections for connection to a vacuum system.

Note: Fill the pump with WPO-3 oil before first use.

Ballast valve for removing vapours. With the gas ballast valve open, you can pump small amounts of condensable vapours out of the system; with it closed, non-condensable gases.
Five SAE ports. Three 3/8" SAE ports and two 1/4" SAE ports let you connect several charging hoses at the same time.
Oil condition visible in the sight glass. The sight glass lets you check the oil level and colour in the pump at any time.
Motor protected against overheating. Thermal overload protection built into the 1.1 kW motor protects it against overheating.

Backing pump in high-vacuum systems

The pump works on its own or as a backing or booster pump in high- and ultra-high-vacuum systems, e.g. with a diffusion, molecular or Roots pump.
