Wipcool PT-25V user manual

The Wipcool PT-25V vertical condensate trap is used to drain condensate from air conditioning systems. It limits the passage of unpleasant odours and insects through the drain pipe.

The user manual is an integral part of the product. Please read this manual carefully and follow all instructions strictly.

The condensate trap limits the backflow of air, but does not stop it completely.

If hot water flows into the condensate trap, do not touch the water or the heated parts of the trap - risk of burns.

Transport and storage

  • ■Transport the condensate trap in its original packaging.
  • ■Store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • ■Storage temperature: -20 to +60 °C.

The condensate trap must be installed vertically.

  1. 01Provide an access opening to the condensate trap for cleaning.
  2. 02Check that the upper housing is fully tightened.

Maintenance

Caution
Do not use organic solvents, such as acetone thinner, for cleaning.

To clean the condensate trap, unscrew the upper housing anticlockwise. Clean the inside of the condensate trap and reassemble it. Fully tighten the upper housing and check for water leaks.

Before submitting a service request, have the following ready:

  • ■Model - found on the product nameplate and on the invoice.
  • ■Serial number - if there is none, provide the production number (e.g. 11/2025), usually found on the underside of the product.
  • ■Proof of purchase - an invoice or receipt from an authorised distributor.
  • ■Description of the fault - what is happening, when it started and under what conditions.
