The HT-1 is a hand torch with automatic ignition that screws onto a 400–454 g MAPP or propane gas cylinder via a CGA600 connection. With MAPP gas, the flame temperature exceeds 1,982 °C. A valve adjusts the flame size and an internal regulator controls the gas pressure.

Note: At a low flame setting, the torch tip overheats.

One-handed trigger ignition
The torch lights when you press the trigger, using one hand.
Flame lock for continuous operation
The lock button keeps the flame burning after you release the trigger - during longer heating, you do not need to hold the trigger down.
Trigger locked in the OFF position
When the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position, pressing the trigger accidentally will not light the torch.
