Wipcool HT-2 Brazing Torch

Brazing torch with a gas hose connecting the handle to a MAPP gas or propane cylinder, for soldering and brazing copper tube. With MAPP gas, it is suitable for soft soldering tube up to Ø2" and brazing up to Ø1".

The HT-2 is a trigger-ignition torch in which a gas hose connects the handle to a CGA600 connector that screws onto a 400–454 g MAPP gas or propane cylinder. With MAPP gas, the flame temperature exceeds 1,982 °C.

Note: At a low flame setting, the torch tip overheats.

Handle connected to the cylinder by a hose
A gas hose connects the cylinder to the handle, so during brazing you hold only the handle with the burner tube, not the cylinder.
Two flame control valves
You can adjust the flame with the valve on the handle or the valve at the cylinder connector.
Trigger locked in the OFF position
When the trigger switch is in the OFF position, accidentally pressing the trigger does not ignite the torch.
