The P16 is a two-piece mini condensate pump: condensate drains from the drip tray into the float switch with reservoir, and the pump, connected to it by a tube, discharges it to the drain. It lifts water to a head of up to 10 m, with a maximum flow of 16 l/h. The model is designed for air conditioners with a cooling capacity of up to 8.8 kW and is often used in ducted units.
The pump is driven by a brushless motor, and its noise level at a distance of 1 m is 19 dB(A). The pump can be mounted horizontally or vertically, e.g. above a suspended ceiling, behind a wall-mounted unit or in trunking. The built-in safety switch responds to a high water level; when the alarm line is connected to an air conditioner control system that supports this signal, the air conditioner is switched off, reducing the risk of condensate leaks.
