The ALD-1 works on the principle of infrared absorption spectroscopy, with a response time of no more than 1 s. The larger the leak, the faster the buzzer signal and the higher the bars on the colour TFT display.

Two 18650 batteries provide 8 hours of continuous operation and are charged via a USB Type-C port.

Compare leaks with the PEAK function
With the PEAK function enabled, the display holds the largest leak detected, so you can compare several suspected leak points.
Filter reduces false alarms
A replaceable filter at the probe tip stops coarse contaminants and moisture, helping to reduce false alarms in high humidity.
