Where to buy

The ALM40 measures distance with a laser beam over a range of 0.03–40 m, without a reflector. From successive measurements it automatically calculates area, volume and lengths using Pythagoras' theorem. A measurement takes 0.3–4 s, and the result is displayed in m, in or ft.

Area and volume without calculating
After you measure two sides of a rectangle, the meter gives the area automatically, and after three measurements - the volume.
Height of inaccessible points
The Pythagoras modes calculate a length from the sides of a triangle, so you can determine a height without reaching the point being measured.
Approx. 5000 measurements on one set of batteries
Two AAA alkaline batteries are sufficient for approximately 5000 single measurements.
