The APC1000 tests 70–1000 V AC three-phase supplies through the cable insulation. The phase sequence lamp and buzzer indicate positive or negative rotation, and the R, S, T lamps show a missing phase.

You can also use a single clamp to check whether a cable is live, and find the location of a break by sliding the clamp along the cable. The tester works with sinusoidal voltage at 45–66 Hz and is designed for indoor use.

No disconnecting, no contact with conductors
The clamps fit around an insulated cable 2–40 mm in diameter, so the tester checks phase sequence without disconnecting cables and without touching live conductors.
Clamps in any order
You can attach the clamps to the phases in any order - positive or negative rotation is indicated by the colour of the phase sequence lamp and the rhythm of the buzzer.
Missing phase shown instantly
If one of the cables has no phase, the corresponding R, S or T lamp goes out while the others stay lit.
Tracing breaks along the cable
Sliding the clamp along a live cable locates a break, as the R, S, T lamps go out once the clamp passes the damaged point.
